Get some dirt on your 808s with this new sample pack! Its mainly Bass drums and Snares, but I also added 2 hi hat samples for good measure. It has that 12 bit squeltch that you probably have heard from some of the software imitations around. Well there is no pretending here, just real, old, 12 bit AD/DA converters trying to process audio the best they can. The SP adds tonal character and also artefacts to the 808s that I would describe as sounding dark, fat, crunchy, gritty, compressed, metallic, sparkly, punchy….verbose! did I miss anything?

All samples are 24bit 96khz mono audio files.
Files were sampled directly from the TR-808 into the SP1200 then recorded into protools at 96Khz and at 24bit. They were then Normalised to roughly -2dB. All pitching was done on the SP1200. These sounds are raw and haven’t been altered with plugins. The only thing done in protools was the level Normalisation.
