The Roland SH101 is a classic analog synthesizer that was produced by Roland from 1982 to 1986. It has a bright and edgy sound that is suitable for techno, drum&bass, acid, and other electronic genres. It has one oscillator, a sub-oscillator, a filter, an envelope, an LFO, a mixer, an arpeggiator, and a sequencer. It can also be played as a keytar with an optional handgrip and shoulder strap. It is one of the most influential synthesizers in history and has been used by many famous artists such as : Portishead, The prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, Mantronix, Egyptian Lover and Juan Atkins.
